About Michael Cloake

Born and raised in Worthing, I live here with my wife and three children

I went to school in Lancing and Worthing, attending Sion School in Worthing town centre for the greater part of my early education. I went on to read Classics and English Literature at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2004

I am currently elected to serve on West Sussex County Council. I am an active member. For more information please visit my Political Career page

I have a full time career and I am the Commercial Director at Camping World. For more information please visit my Employment History page

Michael has been a life long supporter of the  Chanctonbury Community Play Scheme (CCPS) and devoted many voluntary hours over the years to work with a special group of children and their families

I support many charities but notably in 2007 I drove an old Ford Fiesta from London to Mongolia, raising money for Mercy Corps Mongolia, a charity supporting rural communities with their social and economic needs and Send a Cow, a charity promoting self-sustainable farming and livestock breeding in sub-Saharan Africa.

As well as bringing up our own children, we also foster and we both feel strongly about championing children’s welfare in West Sussex.
